Original painting of one of the most magnificent Australian native wattles, Sandpaper wattle -  Acacia Denticulosa. This beautiful wattle is native to NSW but it is pretty rare. 
It is a small shrub and leaves have sandpaper-like texture which gives rise to the common name.  Flowers are uncommonly large 6-8 cm long and ovate shape.
