Original painting on wood panel.

Wood anemone is very special flower, close to my heart. A symbol of spring in Estonia. As soon as the snow melts, the forests floors are covered with white and yellow flowers. Like fallen shining stars, they sparkle. So delicate and so beautiful.

Wood anemone is also a symbol of innocence, grace and purity. The flower is associated with new beginning, a fresh start.

I always felt so light walking in the woods and picking bouquets of anemones, welcoming spring.
